Kate Fawcett, LMSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who joined the Comprehensive Eating Disorders Program team after working at the University of Michigan's Counseling & Psychological Services, where she provided individual, group, and crisis counseling to U-M students with mental health concerns. Additionally, Kate has worked in Community Mental Health settings facilitating Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Cognitive Behavior Therapy skills groups, art therapy, and providing case management. Kate completed her undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Michigan. She combines warmth and compassion with various treatment modalities and the most up-to-date research in helping patients identify and work toward their treatment goals. Kate firmly believes that recovery from an eating disorder is possible and strives to inspire this hope in patients and families as they work to restore their bodies and their lives.
