Natalie Prohaska, M.D., is a clinical instructor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Michigan. Dr. Prohaska completed her general psychiatric residency and child and adolescent psychiatric fellowship at the University of Colorado. She joined the Comprehensive Eating Disorders program through University of Michigan in 2017. She believes that to provide the most effective treatment for mental disorders there needs to be a combination of medication management and therapy and has experience in DBT, CBT, and psychodynamic treatment. She understands the importance of a family based approach when treating children and adolescents as this leads to the longest lasting change. She has a particular interest in anxiety and its overlap with eating disorders.
