Superpower Cuffs

Show off your superpowers through your personally designed superhero cuffs!

What You’ll Need:

  • Two empty toilet paper rolls
  • Paint and/or markers
  • Scissors
  • Decorations for on your cuffs, such as construction paper to create shapes, foam shapes, gems, stickers, etc.
  • Glue, if your decorations don’t have adhesive backings
  • Yarn and a hole punch (for older children/children where the toilet paper rolls aren’t large enough for their wrists/lower arms)

Instructions:

  • Step 1: Cut a line on each toilet paper roll from the top of the cylinder to the bottom to create an opening (see photo above).

  • Step 2: Paint the toilet paper rolls. Use the markers and decorations on the rolls to create your superhero symbol and superpowers.
  • Step 3: For younger children, use the slit in the rolls to carefully open the rolls a bit and place one on each of their wrists/lower arm. For older children, punch holes on either side of the slit and use yarn to lace them like a pair of tennis shoes so they stay on their arms easier.

  • Step 4: Put out your arms and show off those superpowers!
