Art Therapy Internship

University of Michigan Health C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital and the Pediatric Rehabilitation Center offers Art Therapy internships for graduate-level students who are currently enrolled in an accredited Art Therapy master’s program. Interns will be supervised by a team of Registered, Board Certified Art Therapists (ATR-BC).

Requirements

Persons wishing to complete an Art Therapy internship must be a currently enrolled graduate student in an accredited master’s level Art Therapy program. In addition, the student must:

  1. Complete the internship application process including submission of application, cover letter, résumé and interview
  2. Obtain official acceptance for the Art Therapy internship placement at Michigan Medicine’s C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital and the Pediatric Rehabilitation Center
  3. Agree to a mandatory health screening
  4. Agree to a criminal records check
