University of Michigan Health C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital and the Pediatric Rehabilitation Center offers Art Therapy internships for graduate-level students who are currently enrolled in an accredited Art Therapy master’s program. Interns will be supervised by a team of Registered, Board Certified Art Therapists (ATR-BC).
Requirements
Persons wishing to complete an Art Therapy internship must be a currently enrolled graduate student in an accredited master’s level Art Therapy program. In addition, the student must:
- Complete the internship application process including submission of application, cover letter, résumé and interview
- Obtain official acceptance for the Art Therapy internship placement at Michigan Medicine’s C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital and the Pediatric Rehabilitation Center
- Agree to a mandatory health screening
- Agree to a criminal records check
