Biography

Frank DiPaola, M.D. is a member of the faculty of the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology within the Department of Pediatrics and Communicable Diseases. Dr. DiPaola earned his degree in medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He then completed his residency in pediatrics at the Monroe Carell Junior Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, followed by consecutive fellowships in pediatric gastroenterology and pediatric advanced/transplant hepatology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Dr. DiPaola has a special interest in acute and chronic pediatric liver disease, and in the medical care of children before and after liver transplant.
