Daniel E. Gih, MD, FAPA, completed his medical education and training in the Big Ten; medical school at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, and trainings in adult and child psychiatry at the University of Michigan. His clinical interests include hospital-based psychiatry, severe mood disorders in adolescents, and eating disorders. As one of the Directors of the U-M Comprehensive Eating Disorder Program, he contributes psychiatric expertise to the state’s only academic partial hospitalization program for eating disorders for children and young adults. Dr. Gih is an adjunct clinical assistant professor at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, and a fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.
