Dr. Baker graduated with distinction from the Pennsylvania State University with a degree in premedicine and honors in molecular and cellular biology. He earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan. He completed his pediatric residency at the University of Michigan and served for an additional year as chief resident in pediatrics. Outside of work, he enjoys running, hiking, camping, and skiing. His wife is a human geneticist and they have a son, a daughter, and two golden retrievers.
