Plastic Surgery (Pediatric)

A child born with a deforming birth defect can feel emotionally devastating to the parents in addition to holding the potential for a lifetime of impact to the child.

The University of Michigan’s Craniofacial Anomalies Program is one of the largest practices of its type in the country. The physicians in this multidisciplinary program are devoted to the care of your child by building an individualized, comprehensive treatment plan to address his or her unique physical and emotional needs.

We are a "one-stop" medical facility, which makes it easier for you to address all of your child’s medical needs (and easier for your physicians to communicate with each other) without having to travel from one doctor's office to another.

The University of Michigan's Pediatric Plastic Surgery Clinic provides diagnosis and treatment of complicated congenital anomalies including:

  • Cleft Lip and Palate
  • Craniofacial Anomalies

  • Jaw (Orthognathic) Surgery
